Stag Head with Pentagram - 5535B
The stag, with its antlers reaching upward, is sometimes seen as a symbol of the God in his aspect as the Horned God, a deity associated with the wilderness, fertility, and the cycle of life and death. When combined with the pentagram, it can represent the interplay of elemental forces and the sacredness of nature. The pentagram is an interwoven five-pointed star enclosed within a circle, each point of the star representing one of the five elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit all interconnecting in a unicursal whole. In some Pagan and Wiccan traditions, the stag in his association with the Horned God, may be connected to the pentagram to symbolize the balance and harmony of these elements within nature and the spiritual realm.
